What I Love About This Charity…

My husband and I were lucky enough to visit Uganda in June 2018 and fell in love with the people there. One of the main things we noticed was the lack of clean drinking water. For not only drinking, but cooking and bathing, etc. Children are often the ones to walk miles to retrieve water, but the water is most likely contaminated and spreads disease. We feel very passionate about this charity. That’s why we have decided to sponsor a well monthly. It’s called “the Spring” through “Charity:water”. What I love about this charity is their transparency. 100% of all donations go towards wells for clean water across Africa and India. They have other generous donors to cover salaries and overhead. La Di Da will be donating a percentage of our profits monthly. We encourage you to do the same and bring healthy water to everyone in the planet!
— Love, Kelly

Why Water?

For people in developing countries, clean water can change everything.

663 million people in the world live without clean water.

That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide. Or, twice the population of the United States. The majority live in isolated rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their family. Not only does walking for water keep children out of school or take up time that parents could be using to earn money, but the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.

But access to clean water means education, income and health - especially for women and kids.
